We constantly battled algae. Since we have been using the ionizer, no algae. We were previously dumping several bottles of algaecide in the pool every week. Since we started using the ionizer, we haven't used a single bottle. We used to have to balance the Ph constantly and in the past month, we used Ph Up just one time after a big rain. We have drastically reduced the amount of chlorine in the pool and have not needed any shock. The reduced chlorine means a much more comfortable use of the pool by granddaughters

Only had it in the water a couple of weeks. No algae and water is clear.

My advice, follow the instructions by the letter. I did not do the first cleaning in 7 days. I included a picture and I want to point out that I have not put a chemical in for 3 weeks! And it is crystal clear! That is crazy considering I'm in sunny South Florida! Just give it time, follow the rules, and you will be pleasantly surprised at how well this thing works

Blown away at how effective this is! I've had it in my pool for a week and I've had to drop my chlorine levels to near 0 because nothing is growing!

A truly almost maintenance-free pool!

I usually do not write product reviews, but feel this one is needed! This product has been a game changer. I was at my wits end with my pool. Draining and refilling the pool just for it to be non swimmable again was getting old. Then I was told about this product from a family member and love it. I have never seen my water so clear! It took roughly 3 full days for it to get totally clear. I have yet to use any other chemicals except a little Algecide. This is a MUST if you own a pool!

I was a little hesitant in purchasing the product as a "to good to be true." However, I pulled the trigger and glad I did!! It did take a couple of weeks of brushing the pool to get all the algae out. From that point on, I'm using half the chlorine, and my neighbor thought I had the pool re-plastered because the water was so clear!

I even let the chlorine go down to zero for a few days--no algae came back. Excellent product. I wish I had know about this years ago!

We live in southwest Florida near the gulf of Mexico and have had a black algae problem for 9-10 months that wouldn't completely die with daily brushing and algaecide and shocking the water. After placing this in our pool over the last 3 weeks our pool is black algae free and sparkling clean with minimal chemicals in our salt water pool. We are first time pool owners and we were seriously skeptical that it wouldn't kill the black algae. We even kept the box because we were sure we'd be returning it! Boy were we wrong...It really works and we're very happy with it. The ease of cleaning the adenode and basket every 5-7days is very simple and may take 10-15 min.

I was skeptical about this product, but absolutely desperate for something to work. Our pool was cloudy and green despite adding chemicals and Algeciras and shock treatments. It would clear up a little then back to green and cloudy. We added the ionizer and about a week later it was entirely cleared up. The pool is blue and we can see the bottom. Totally amazing.

Okay have had this about 90 days in a 18k gallon salt water pool with full sun. This actually works! We are still using some chemicals but they are lasting a LOT longer. not nearly the growth that we have had in the past. I am having to clean the copper rod once a week and this takes about 15 ish minutes

I live in southwest Florida and run my pool year-round. I recently was fighting the algae bloom from hell. I was dumping more chemicals in my pool than the chem companies dump into the Mississippi. I do not have to mess with my pool every day. I check it once a week, I USE LESS CHLORINE, and the water feels great, skin does not dry out as much.

I’m a skeptic about ‘miraculous’ products for the pool. This one really has been life-changing and I don’t say that lightly. This is the second season we have been in this house in Ohio. Last year I spent countless hours and dollars trying to keep green and brown algae at bay. I constantly swept the bottom, poured in bottles of algaecide, and added chlorine. Nothing helped, after a few days the green was back regardless of what I did. I heard about this type of system from a friend and did some research then decided it was worth a try. I’m so glad I took the plunge. I keep three or four tablets in the floater and that’s it for chemicals

I have had a very bad Algae problem in my pool for years. No matter what I did I could not control it. I paid for many expensive algae cures with little success. I would have to sweep my pool every second or third day and was using 4 to 6 gallons of chlorine a week just to keep it under control. I saw this unit and I thought I would take a chance. Honestly, I didn't have a lot of hope but I gave it a try. The first week there wasn't much of a difference. But, the second week on is amazing. In the last 5 weeks I have swept the pool twice and it was only minimal algae growth. I have used 4 gallons of chlorine in the past five weeks. That is going from 20 to 30 gallons of chlorine to 4! Did I say WOW!

I just LOVE it! We've had it for 3 weeks now and I cannot believe how clean our pool is! No chlorine has been needed which is perfect because my eldest granddaughter has always suffers with itchy skin from chlorine.

This thing works!!! I've had this 'thing' in our pool for about ten days. I've been checking the water quality almost every day. The preferred settings remain constant. Before this 'thing', our water was always cloudy and the bottom of the pool was difficult to see (our pool is six feet deep). Now our pool water is so clear that it looks like there is no water in it.

I was constantly having algae on the side of my pool here in Arizona. I would shock it every week on Monday and still would get green algae. Bought this a little over a week ago and now I have no issues. I use half of the chlorine tablets now. Here in Arizona algae is a huge problem. If you have a pool you must get one. Make sure you clean the cylinder every week. With the provided wire it comes off fairly easy. Just don't wait weeks to do it.

I am very pleased with this product! I have two in my 36,000 gal saltwater pool and they have made it so easy to maintain. I have a digital meter and I’ve compared testing strips and I’ve had no problems with my levels being off at all.

Great device. My neighbor turned me on to this and it has been working great in my pool. I used to have a bad algae problem and since this device was in my pool, I haven’t had to use any algaecide. Plus, I have been putting less chlorine in pool. Just a few chlorine tabs and pool has looked great.
